外国语学院始终把人才培养作为学院最重要的工作talents cultivation，不仅重在培养具有中国胸怀、世界眼光的高层次、高素质、高技能的研究和应用型语言人才，而且始终把提高全校学生外语能力与素养作为学院的重要任务。积极推进教育教学改革，不断提高教育质量。

大学英语本科教学部率先创建分层次、多课程的研究型教学模式talents cultivationtalents cultivation 人才培养简介，建立了全方位的研究型教学规范评价体系、立体化的课程资源库和网络教学平台。适应不同专业、不同层次的人才培养的需要，努力培养学生语言综合应用能力、文化素养、自主学习能力、学术研究能力、创新能力和跨文化交际能力，为我校学生参与国际学术交流和研学做好语言与文化准备。适应学校人才培养新模式与教育国际化的要求talents cultivation，提高学生学术英语应用能力，研究生外语教学部积极开展课程改革，开发新的课程体系和配套教材，修订教学大纲，探索新的教学模式，在教学实践中取得了良好的效果。

英语和日语专业在培养模式上打破了传统外语专业单一技能型的人才培养模式，结合本校的办学特点与学科优势talents cultivation 人才培养简介，融入了经贸、法律、科技传媒等课程，培养宽口径、应用性、复合型人才。教学以小班为单位，在一、二年级开设大量的语言知识和技能训练以及跨文化交际类课程，三、四年级在强化高级语言技能及文学文化知识的同时，开设了复合型专业方向课程，凸显应用型人才培养特色。

学院致力于培养有责任、懂感恩、善分享、学贯中外的英才。英语专业TEM-4及TEM-8、日语专业国际日本语能力考试一级的及格率及优秀率位居国内高校前列。学生在各类竞赛、模拟联合国及其它文化活动中均取得骄人成绩。学生在校间每学期均有赴美、英、澳、日、香港、台湾等研学机会，极大拓宽了学生的视野。外国语学院毕业生分布在金融、企业、外事、教育机构、联合国、媒体等领域，在用人单位及社会上收获良好赞誉。
